With over 20 years of hospitality experience, Cate has done everything from running cocktail bars in London to owning her own cafés and pubs across New Zealand and the UK. Her deep industry knowledge spans operations, service, and drinks curation. A few years ago, she moved to Wellington to take on the role of Beer and Spirits Buyer for Moore Wilson’s, a respected institution known for championing quality producers. Cate has previously judged at the New Zealand Spirits Awards and brings a sharp palate and strong industry insight to the AIVAs, where she’s looking forward to contributing to the evaluation of world-class vodka.
